Admissions Process

Whenever we go through the admissions process with a new patient, our first step is to let them know how much we admire their courage. These are not empty words from a script that we deliver the same way to every patient, it is a real acknowledgment of the courage it takes to fight addiction. Our staff is ready with open arms to let you know that you made the right decision, and that you are at the right place.

Each person’s journey to recovery is different, and we are prepared to handle the unique conditions involving your situation. You have made the decision to get your life back and stop the damage that addiction does to your health and your family. We reward that decision with the kind of compassionate and caring attention that has a proven track record of getting positive results.

Our Promise

We are honored that you have chosen our facility to be the vehicle you use to get your life back on track. In recognition of your decision, we promise to:

  • Take every possible step to ensure your privacy and keep any details about your treatment confidential from anyone who you have not designated as being privy to that information.
  • Utilize the experience and talents of our staff to provide you with a customized treatment program that addresses your specific needs, and is designed to do everything possible to ensure your success.
  • Keep you and the family members or friends you designate to help you in your recovery updated on every possible detail to do with your treatment. We will answer your questions in full, and we will provide you with the resources you need to stay in control of your recovery process.

The First Step – Making Contact

You can call us for a free phone consultation regarding your addiction issues, or the addiction problems a loved one is experiencing. We will walk you through a pre-qualification process that includes questions regarding your condition, and any information we would need regarding insurance.

Our admissions counselors are trained professionals who make the initial screening process as simple and quick as possible. When we have the information we need, we will start discussing treatment options that will help you get the best possible results.

Step Two – Being Approved

All of our patients must meet our medical criteria for treatment before we can approve an admission request. We will outline our admissions criteria to you, and then we will explain our decision in detailed terms. If we do not feel that we can help you or your loved one, then we will make recommendations that we feel best serve your needs.

If our counselors determine that you or your loved one is a case that can be handled by our experts, then we will go through the entire admissions process with you. We will let you know if you will have any out-of-pocket expenses, we will give you an outline of the treatment we offer, and we will work with you to complete the information we need to finalize your admission.

Step Three – Schedule The Treatment

Once we have all of your medical and financial information squared away, we then move on to the process of scheduling your treatment. We do have cases where patients need some time before being able to enter our program, and we will advise you on whether or not delayed admission is recommended. But it is our experience that the sooner you get started, the better your chances are for success.

Our programs vary in length, and we will let you know how long you will be here during the scheduling process. Our counselors will review our visitation policies, and we will give you a step-by-step rundown of what will happen on the day you are scheduled to come to our facility. No matter where you live or how far you will have to travel to get to us, we will make sure that your trip is as accommodating as possible.

Final Step – Your Assessment

The final step of our admissions process is your initial assessment upon arriving at our facility. When you first arrive, we will welcome you with open arms and do what we can to make you as comfortable as possible. We understand the challenges that addiction creates, and we know that time is of the essence when you first arrive.

Your first meeting will be with our addiction experts who will work with you to finalize your custom treatment plan. We do not consider anything to be final until you understand our treatment recommendations clearly, and you agree to follow the program put in place for you. Once your initial assessment is over, your admissions process will be complete.

It takes dedication and conviction on your part to make that first phone call to one of our counselors. From the moment you first call us until you leave our facility, we work hard to put all of your positive energy to work for you in the battle to beat addiction.
