Importance of a Fresh Environment
Very often, we get locked into certain behavior patterns, which can make the recovery process more difficult. You may have a certain routine of going to the same places and seeing the same people every day, but not all of these places and people are likely beneficial to your recovery. Going to a new environment and spending some time away from the norm can help you get some distance from less than healthy relationships and make it easier to take stock of your life, where you’re going, and where you want to be. This is where Lumiere Healing Centers comes in.
Our inpatient rehab allows a live-in environment at a luxurious facility that provides not only counseling from professionals, but also the ability to form connections amongst other clients. The residential section of our facility is separated from the detox facilities, so you are able to interact with others who are at similar places in their recovery process. You learn not only how to have fun while sober, but also how to take your positive changes and apply them to your life after leaving Lumiere.
While Detox is the medical side of recovery where you step down your drug use with the help of tapers and comfort meds, residential treatment is where you dig deep to address the root causes of your addiction.
With individual and group counseling as well as behavioral therapy, we ensure you have more than just coping mechanisms when you leave Lumiere. You’ll have a deeper understanding of all the aspects that drove your addiction in the first place, and you’ll walk out our doors with a toolbox that’s filled with everything you need to stay on track towards a successful sobriety and highly reduce the chances of a relapse down the road.
